We take charges for prepare supporting documents for your visa application, we do not take any charges for visa fees, and for the Schengen zone, you need to pay the visa fee at VFS.

Do I need to submit my original passport with application?

Yes, Embassy Need your passport for stamping and verification, and return back to VFS if you are applying within Schengen Zone

How much Money Do i have to own in bank balance for applying Schengen/European Visa ?

if we assume that 10 days travel in Schengen zone cost would be approx 1.5 lakh INR, you need to maintain a balance of up to 3x  time more.
Make sure IT return is the major role.
